RIBBONS & RAYS - 26 x 20 mixed media abstract on YUPO

A mixed media abstract using acrylic and liquid watercolor on YUPO and YUPO is a synthetic paper that is 100% recyclable, waterproof and tree-free. No brushes were used to create this. Hand made stencils and chopped up expired credit cards made all the lines and swirls.

Follow the Leader

I tossed many titles around for this painting and in my description of it I ended up referring to the main turtle as the leader - so a new title was born.

Heavily textured using a palette knife. The face was discovered with ink. The blur is from adding water to the ink while it's still wet. Painted edges so it's ready to hang
