This little trio sold yesterday but since it was my birthday all I really got done was shipping the paintings to the Isle of Wight! It was like a little geography class learning all about that place. 2nd largest isle in the UK islands. WHO KNEW?

This was a fun one to paint. Lots of action. Very intuitive. End of season colors that depict cropover. The end of the sugar growing season. No longer an actual happening but rather a festival to encourage people to visit Barbados.
