Avocado Still Life
It's day 2 of the 10 Day Painting Challenge.
I love and adore avocados and yet this is the first time I've ever painted them. Probably because I eat them so fast I never have any subject matter! ((yummy))
I really enjoyed painting this today. I am especially happy with how the table runner turned out. I used the wooden end of a paint brush to make the lines while the paint was still wet. For a change I mixed my paint on my palette instead of on the paper for the avocado insides. For the rest of the painting I mixed colors on the paper.
